Punta Sayago
LOBRAUS was a pioneer as a logistics provider in the new logistics port called "Puerto Logístico Punta Sayago", a new state port, considered an annex to the Port of Montevideo, intended to partially decentralize the capacity of the Port of Montevideo (totally overloaded). The Uruguayan government believes that `Punta Sayago` is the future and the natural complement to the operations of the Port of Montevideo. Currently, LOBRAUS has offices and warehouses in that town, being able to offer all the services to its regular customers.
Free Port
The Free Port regime implies the free transit of merchandise within the port terminals of Uruguay and its port warehouses, with the capacity to receive cargo from abroad, without the need for special authorizations or qualifications. During the stay at the port, the merchandise will be exempt from all kinds of import-related taxes and customs duties, without a time limit.
